Kirsten Brown
Kirsten works with women (and all humans) supporting the growth of their leadership as a coach and development specialist (Wholehearted Life). Kirsten is also a Precision Nutrition certified coach and passionate about how health and wellbeing support our aspirations and lives as human beings.
As she tells it… “Each woman’s experience of perimenopause is unique - there is no one size fits all. Women these days carry a lot on their shoulders and can be incredibly hard on themselves. Meeting these challenges with confidence, grace and self-compassion can make the difference between a difficult perimenopause and a transformative one.
I am committed to evolving how we view peri-menopause and ensuring every woman is connected to the support they need to move through it in their own way and in their own power.”
Janis Wilson
Janis: pilates instructor and owner of @supermovement415 , mum of twin teenage girls, and all round lover of life, music, sport and people.
Janis really only started thinking about menopause and this new term to her “perimenopause” years ago when she turned 40. Unusual things started to happen before every menstrual cycle. Up until then, she had experienced very consistent pre-menstrual symptoms, cycle and flow. Why were things changing now that she’d turned 40?
”Move more, sit less” is what we often hear Janis saying. As a pilates instructor, Janis is passionate about inspiring those around her to keep moving. Whilst movement / exercise is important for everyone, Janis’ involvement in this project is to educate, show, encourage, empathise with women her own age just HOW important it is to stay mobile, to strengthen muscle and bones with resistance training, to increase aerobic fitness, to improve balance and posture, to strengthen pelvic floor muscles, and how to connect into YOUR body.
Renee Irvine
Renee, is a qualified naturopath personal trainer, mumma to two young boys and local resident of Melbourne's inner west.
Renee's interest in peri-menopause was initially tweaked early when she watched her own mother go through peri-menopause at quite a young age. This interest has become a passion over the years, as in clinical practice she's continued to see a variety of women struggling with this next stage of their lives, with symptoms of peri-menopause and a lack of help from the conventional medical field.
As a naturopath, Renee's goal is to treat the underlying cause, educate her clients about how they can take charge and improve their health, and prevent health concerns from arising in the future. Her approach is empathetic, compassionate, practical and sustainable. Renee uses a combination of nutrition, herbal medicine, dietary analysis and advice and health coaching to assist her clients to achieve their best health on a physical, emotional and mental level.
