A L L O W - A meditation for Covid Times

Now is the time to allow yourself.

To slow down. To be gentle. To feel the grief of those things calling you to grieve. Perhaps to be annoyed. To be frustrated.

To notice the things that carry on unmoved by crisis and human carry on. The flowers, the weather, the birds.

To feel gratitude. To connect. To learn.

Trying to stuff stuff down will only cause stress - which in turn will amplify any perimenopausal niggles. 

Allow.

This morning I allowed time for a lovely home cooked late breakfast after a trip to the dentist - a mushroom, spring onion, spinach, parsley and goat’s cheese omelette.
